I arrived in the southern town of Gore with the main focus to photograph this building. I knew with its cream coloured exterior that depending on which direction it faced it could produce a stunning image. It was around midday when I got a first glimpse of it and it didn’t disappoint. I figured out it faces west so a great option for sunset. I spent the next 5 hours surveying the building to find the angle I thought would work the best. Unfortunately come sunset the cloud had fully set in and I knew tonight wasn’t that night. It took me another 3 days of going back and forth to this building to get a day with potential. When I arrived that day it was very overcast with a lot of dark clouds, but not a lot of sun to light up the building, but as I patiently waited I got a break in the clouds that lasted 30 secs, enough time to grab three photographs of the building before the sun disappeared.
