Cathy Davies
Cathy Davies is an award winning expressionist artist who paints mainly in acrylics and mixed media. Enchanted and intrigued by the human face, the character and the subtle differences that make us unique, as well as the commonalities that make us so similar, Cathy tries to capture that magical moment, that one simple gesture, fleeting expression or emotion, or a glance that touches, moves and fascinates the viewer. To achieve this she carefully builds layers of paint, using colour and pattern. Her work is in private collections and exhibited throughout the country.
