A rare pearl, created from grit that entered the oyster shell that birthed it, sits protected by a butterfly wing. Painted in honour of the pearls that hide in the parts of ourselves we reject. It invites us to reclaim the beauty in our darkest depths and celebrates the process of transformation that occurs when we do.
