Jill Turley

Jill Turley lives in Auckland and has been studying art at Browne School of Art in Grey Lynn since 2017. Working mainly in acrylics on board, her art straddles both abstraction and realism and explores both human relationships and the various states of human frailty. She has long been intrigued by the history and methodology of Turkish Ebru marbling and frequently incorporates an adapted form of this in either under layers or as a final layer in her paintings. Jill takes part annually in a number of group exhibitions.
