Sara Langdon is an Auckland based contemporary landscape artist who draws inspiration from the beauty of familiar volcanic landmarks around the city. Sara studied and practiced photography, then went on to teach Art and Art History before moving to London for a few years. On returning to Auckland in 2009, it was not long before Sara turned her working practice to focus solely on painting. Sara’s work is a fresh approach to landscape realism. She works in acrylic on board, canvas and paper. She has completed a number of large landscape commissions and her work hangs in private collections worldwide.
