Tanya Blong

Tanya Blong’s work speaks to a moment in time, heated summers being the backdrop to society at leisure, languid and idyllic. It is a dual commentary, an immersion into a slow sensory world, numbed by the sun, and an ease of being, whilst floating ideas of the luxury of time, access and inclusion.
Blong studied at Hungry Creek Art and Craft school, graduating 2006.
Her work is in private and public collections.
