This joyful and whimsical piece is of a variety of Water Lily, the Nymphaea. They are incredible. The flower buds rise to the surface over a period of 2 - 3 days & when ready open during mid-morning, closing near dusk. I have captured them in an impressionist style which is playful and pretty.
