From a series titled, 'Cycles of Reflection'. This work evolved from a colour field into an abstract expression, stemming from my subconscious.
The mirror medium is a metaphor for the mind, symbolising the threshold between consciousness. The circle represents the cycle of energy, the basis of our entire existence.
Spontaneous sweeps of paint float between glazes of pigment to represent a contrast between the internal and external worlds.
The process of creation has helped me to make meaning and hold my identity.
My work extends to the viewer a stimulative invitation - to engage with my vision of a limitless destination where light, color, form, and space perform an exhilarative and endless dance.
