Justin Kennedy-Good
Justin has been painting for twenty years, and has a studio at his central Auckland home. Not formally trained, the work is inspired by a range of artists, primarily the abstract painters Agnes Martin and Mark Rothko.
Each painting reflects on the experience of a subject or event. The movement between feeling and thought that it evokes. The viewer can find the movement within each painting, for their own contemplation, and evocation of thoughts and feelings. Ideally each encounter will raise something new.
