Laureen Pipkin
I am inspired by bright, bold colours and pattern and their ability to energise and evoke emotion. I love the tactile quality of acrylic and enjoy its diversity and versatility, as well as using it in combination with other media. My latest paintings are created with several layers of acrylic paint, dry media and handmade gelli printed papers which I make and apply to the surface. My process takes me on a journey of discovery and problem solving.
