New Zealand artist Mathew Scott graduated from the Wellington School of Design in 1991. His creativity and aptitude for design has, over the past two decades, encompassed landscape and interior stone sculptures, abstract acrylic paintings and more recently feathers and shells carved from New Zealand native timbers. His work is distributed through a number of channels including galleries, retail stores, fundraisers and commissions. Mat also donates work annually to charities and the annual BACS awards which were set up to acknowledge corporate social responsibility . Originally from Hawkes Bay, Mathew is of Maori / Irish / Scottish descent.
